rises above sea level. As you can see, the State of Nebraska sits more than 1,000 feet above sea level except
for areas on the eastern border along the Missouri River.
The lowest point in Nebraska is on the eastern side of the state at the Missouri River
in Richardson County. Nebraska's low point is 840 feet above sea level.
The highest point in Nebraska is a place called
located in Kimball County, in the extreme
southwestern corner of the state.
It's about 58 miles southwest of
and a little over a mile from the tri-state marker where Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming meet.
