The daytime/nighttime hours will depend on where you are in Alaska. In Barrow, one of the northernmost cities in Alaska, the shortest period of daylight is 0. The longest period of daylight is 24 hours.

In Ketchikan, one of the southernmost places in the state, the shortest period of daylight is 7 hours, 6 minutes. The longest period of daylight is 17 hours, 27 minutes.

You can get this information from the Astronomical Applications Department at the U.S. Naval Observatory.
