I saw an article about the state fossil and I do not understand why they don't make it the state fossil. But they want to put a bunch of religious stuff about it. I believe in God but they didn't do this for any of the other official South carolina animals.

Those senators aren't very smart and just want to make it hard for some reason.

By the way, the state fossil is supposed to be the wooly mammoththumbs up
