sea level. Lower areas of Montana are found in the valleys of the Missouri and the Yellowstone Rivers on the

River, which flows into Montana from Canada, through a portion of northern Idaho and back into Canada, reaches
a state low point of 1,800 feet above sea level in Lincoln County.
The highest point in Montana is found in the
south-central part of the state.
